Europa League

The Europa League is an annual club football competition organized by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) for eligible European football clubs. It is considered the second-tier tournament, below the UEFA Champions League. The competition was originally established in 1971 as the UEFA Cup and was rebranded to the Europa League in 2009. It features clubs that qualify based on their performance in domestic leagues and cup competitions. The tournament consists of multiple rounds, including group stages and knockout phases, culminating in a final match to determine the winner. The Europa League provides clubs with the opportunity to compete on an international stage, gain prestige, and qualify for additional tournaments, such as the UEFA Super Cup or the Champions League for the following season.
